Responsibilities

  • Develop and increase revenue through consultative selling to customers and prospects, by presenting yourself in a warm, professional, well-articulated, and caring manner as an effective representative of SOTI.
  • Conduct demonstrations of SOTI products both on-site and remotely.
  • Provide pre-sales technical support to potential customers.
  • Analyze SOTI's market segments and develop recommendations for product plans.
  • Investigate issues reported by customers and communicate with internal product development teams to resolve product issues.
  • Provide email and phone-based technical support before and after sales for our software products.
  • 20% travel is expected in this role.

About You

We are looking for someone with a strong interest in modern technology and driven by your energy to identify and solve complex problems while providing excellent customer service. You are passionate about learning and demonstrating your understanding of computer networking principles, able to work in a fast-paced environment, and willing to learn and grow. This position offers development opportunities and a long-term career at SOTI. Pre-Sales Engineers are responsible for meeting the needs of new and existing customers to maximize their experience with SOTI products. This includes providing technical support, generating revenue through upselling, and professional service training, as well as following up on support cases as needed.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and another Nordic language are a plus.
  • Understanding of computer networking principles (firewalls, network protocols, subnets, etc.)
  • Ability to plan, prioritize, and organize workload, while consistently working within service standards and agreed goals.
  • Ability to drive and support proof of concept initiatives (PoC) to demonstrate product value and tailor solutions to customer needs.
